- The CHUM (Cross Hole Ultrasonic Monitor): uses the Crosshole Sonic Logging (CSL) method to perform quality control of deep foundations. The system uses an ultrasonic wave sent from a transmitter to a receiver pulled through water filled access tubes embedded in the concrete. The measured arrival time and energy are strongly dependent on the concrete quality.
- The USB-PET (Piletest's Pile Echo Tester): is a pulse - echo solution, user friendly in controlling quickly and accurately a large number of deep foundations. There is no need time to train, PET is a modular system to computer, only connection through USB port of any regular notebook, Tablet PC, or Pocket PC.
PET uses pulse-echo method. To test a pile, user takes a small hammer in package strikes to pile. The resulting signal is captured and analyzed by PET's digital accelerometer, than transmitted information about the pile's length and shape.
