CSI releases the latest version of SAP2000 V25

Alongside the latest updates for software like ETABS v21, SAFE v21, CSiBridge v25, CSI has also introduced the newest version of the SAP2000 software, version 25. SAP2000 v25 is the latest release concerning graphical interface, modeling tools, addition of new load standards, as well as design standards.

SAP2000 is a well-known structural analysis and design software among engineers worldwide. With SAP2000 version 25, engineers will have access to many new features, enhancing their productivity.

USER INTERFACE

The Model Explorer, a tree-like structure of the structural model, has been added for faster navigation around the model. This can be utilized to identify and assign properties and loads, examine the model's geometry, control the display, and perform other functions.

STRUCTURAL MODELING

Pre-defined frame hinges, including flexibility distribution, have been included.

LOADS

Automatic wind load, automatic seismic load, Auto-wind load, and response spectrum function based on ASCE 7-22 standard have been added in SAP2000 v25.

Automatic wind load, automatic seismic load, and response spectrum based on NBCC 2020 standard have been added to SAP2000 v25.

Automatic wind load according to NBCC 2015 standard addresses dynamic issues for openings and convex/concave surfaces.

DESIGN

The AS 4100-2020 design standard for steel frames has been added as a supplement.

DATA FILES

High-strength steel JGJ/T 483-2020 has been added to the Chinese material library.

TABLE DATA

Detailed data for a row in the database table is now available.

FIXES

Issues reported by users in previous versions have been addressed.
