Introduction
Vietnam is on the path to digital transformation with the Prime Minister's approval of the National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with a vision to 2030. This program includes three main pillars: Digital Government, Digital Economy, and Digital Society. In that context, businesses are gradually forming a digital industrial ecosystem, especially in the construction sector. However, the digital transformation process is posing many challenges and difficulties for businesses such as: lack of effective interaction between parties; special projects requiring complex processes and high accuracy; processing and managing big data in projects requires businesses to have a large human resource and data management skills.
Understanding the difficulties that businesses are facing in the digital transformation process, CIC Technology and Consulting Joint Stock Company (CIC), formerly known as the Information Technology Company under the Ministry of Construction and a pioneer in the field of deploying IT solutions for the construction, electricity, oil and gas industries, ... in conjunction with HEXAGON, a world-leading company in digital reality solutions, combining sensor technology, software and self-driving technology, we co-organized an online seminar with the topic: "iConstruct & Jovix - Optimizing digital transformation with BIM tools and material management".
Jovix is a real-time construction materials management application for investors, contractors, suppliers, etc. By digitizing and automating manual data, Jovix provides real-time visibility, helping project stakeholders reduce construction time, accelerate project progress, update the status of each type of material, provide business statistics, and integrate information software such as SAP and Oracle P6, etc.
Meanwhile, iConstruct is BIM software, specially developed to integrate with Autodesk Naviswork software for scheduling and model management, helping to enhance project performance and promote seamless collaboration across specific project cycles, for contractors, project managers and construction engineers, etc.
